    A microaggression is a statement, action, or incident regarded as an instance of indirect, subtle, or unintentional discrimination. This can be something like calling COVID the “Kung-flu” or “Chinese virus,” touching a Black person’s hair — especially without permission — or asking inappropriate questions about someone’s identity.
    To be clear, the "micro" in microaggression doesn't mean that these acts can't have big, life-changing impacts. They can, which is all the more reason to address them when you see them.
