Are dogs allowed on the grounds?
A:
Yes! In fact they do specials for dogs and owners from time to time!

How far is it from downtown Cleveland?
A:
About a half hour depending on traffic. You will also be in Mentor, Ohio. The Garfield residence is very close to the Mentor Mall and tons of shopping and restaurants.

How long should we plan for our visit to the Garfield National Historic site?
A:
A couple of hours would be good. The tour of the home is wonderful but you have to take a stroll through the grounds to get the whole effect.

How much is admission
A:
The museum is free but, if you want to tour the actual house it's $7 I think and then there is a secret tour that takes you through more of the house and there is an extra charge for that.

$7 per person children are free. If you have a National Park pass they accept it which gives you free entrance
