The 8.4 mm thick device can be configured with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. Microsoft also revealed a new backlit keyboard and a glass trackpad with with 5-point multitouch compatible with both the Surface Pro 4 and the Surface Pro 3.
The 12.3" screen has a resolution of 267 ppi, meaning there are over 5 million pixels on the screen. Microsoft showed off what it's calling Pixel Sense technology during its presentation.
The Surface Pro 4 stylus, which Microsoft refers to as a pen, has 1024 levels of sensitivity and stores magnetically to the Surface Pro 4. According to the company, the pen is used on the Surface Pro 3 by 50% of its users. The pen will come in 5 different colors with interchangeable pen tips. "It's like a ballpoint pen, to a felt-tip pen, to a pencil," Microsoft said during its presentation.
Microsoft also announced a Surface Pro docking station that is also compatible with the Surface Pro 3 with 4 USB 3.0 ports, 2 DisplayPorts, and an Ethernet port.
Microsoft also showed of the new Microsoft Band and two new Lumia phones, the Lumia 950 and 950XL.
